Dear Mrs. Zrihen,
I very much enjoyed the book The Girl Who Could Fly. In fact, I enjoyed it so much, that I finished it in nearly one week. The Girl Who Could Fly is written by Victoria Forester. Before I read the book, it was recommended to me by Ms. Miller. Prior to reading the book, I also did the five finger test. While reading the book, I quizzed myself after every page, and while reading the book, I also discussed what I read each night with my brother. After reading the book, I quizzed myself on what I read, and after reading the book, I also discussed what I had read. The characters in this fiction book are very “round.”
I think The Girl Who Could Fly is a very good book, but a complete rip-off of X-men. In both, there are people with mutant powers, and people who want to stop the mutant powers from existing. However, in The Girl Who Could Fly, children have mutant powers, not adults.
I would rate this book **** four stars, but only because I love the plot’s similarity to X-men.
Your student,
