Readers Journal #2
Dear Mrs. Zrihen,
I very much enjoyed the book Griffins daughter. In fact, I enjoyed it so much, that I finished it in nearly one month. Griffins daughter is written by Laslie Ann Moor.
Before I read the book, it was recommended to me by my mom. Prior to reading the book, I also did the five finger test. While reading the book, I quizzed myself after every page, and while reading the book, I also discussed what I read each night with my brother. After reading the book, I quizzed myself on what I read, and after reading the book, I also discussed what I had read. The characters in this fiction book are very “round.”
“Jelena might have her mothers curly black hair but the rest of her features bore the unmistakable stamp of her fathers elven blood. From the slightly upturned eyebrows to the gently pointed ear tips.” Is just one place were a character is described.
Unfortunately Griffins daughter is part 1 of a 3 part trilogy. So it is gust an exposition with no antagonist. There for it has no conflict.
I still think Griffins daughter is a wonderfully written ***** five star book.
